October at P2Bi has been all about growth. We hired three new employees to help us better serve our clients and added two new clients to our family of borrowers. Meet Lola Granola and LifePrint. Lola Granola cooks up simple, clean granola bars that are tasty and packed with energy. LifePrint has built a nifty tech product that allows you to use an app and watch their photos come to life. Intrigued? Find more info below. P2Binvestor also earned the number one spot on the Denver Business Journal’s list of fastest-growing companies. Over the last three years, we’ve grown revenue from $240,000 to $2.63 million. We couldn’t have done this without funding some of Denver’s fastest-growing companies so we want to extend a big congrats to our client Qwinix who came in second in their revenue category.

YOU can call in and ask questions and they will discuss topics such as financing options in Colorado, dig into how P2Bi was started, and answer your small business questions. National followers: there will be a podcast replay that we will post in our next newsletter. This month Krista is headed to LEEDS Business school at CU Boulder to chat with aspiring entrepreneurs about what it’s like to run a high-growth business. Given her expertise—and recent award!—we couldn’t think of anyone better suited to talk on the subject. She’s also volunteered to act as a mentor for other women in tech through an awesome new startup platform called Flock. Meet our team: Kayla Bowsky, HR Representative Kayla is the not-so-secret weapon here at P2Bi. She takes care of office management, event planning, hiring, benefits, and more. She’s our go-to gal for just about everything. Kayla joined the P2Bi team back in September 2015 after taking a short break from her career as an Office Administrator to do some exceptionally important work—taking care of her newborn daughter. She says she loves working at P2Binvestor because of our awesome team, culture, and our big hairy audacious goal to be the number one provider of working capital to high growth businesses. When she isn’t in the office, Kayla loves scuba diving, cooking for her family, and enjoying the 280+ days of Colorado sunshine in the great outdoors. Need a great chili recipe? Kayla is also the current defender of our Chili Cook Off championship title.
